We accept Visa, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER . Credit cards will be charged as soon as you complete the rental transaction online.

How and when do I recharge my scooter?

Each scooter/power wheelchair has a display gauge on the steering column that gives you a good indication of how much charge your equipment requires. We do recommend that you recharge you scooter/power wheelchair nightly or as otherwise indicated on the gauge. Small portable charger and or charging cords are provided with all rentals. Charging couldn't be easier, simply insert one end of the charging cord into the designated port on the scooter commonly at the rear or on the steering column and connect the other end to a standard electric outlet.

How long do I get on a full charge?

Standard-size models will give about a 20 mile radius and the smaller portables about a 10-12 mile radius. Please monitor the battery gauge periodically to ensure you have sufficient power remaining for your needs and to determine if a top-up is needed.

I am staying at a hotel. Where do I pickup /return the scooter?

At hotels and casinos, equipment is typically delivered to the bell-desk (or concierge desk depending on location) in advance of your arrival. When your rental is completed, simply return the equipment to the same location or call us to schedule alternate pickup arraignments.

My scooter won't move. Do you have any trouble-shooting tips?

Yes we do. Check our Troubleshooting Tips section to see if your question is answered. If you don't find what you are looking for, call us on: 1(888) 678-6267.

What are the main differences between the scooters you provide?
We offer 3 main types of scooters:
  1. Standard 3-wheel scooters: These are usually full size and will typically accommodate individuals 4ft--6ft3” and weighing up to 300lbs. On a full charge these units will give a range of approx 20 miles before they need recharging. Standard scooters are not intended to be routinely dismantled, they may however fit into a minivan or SUV and we have ramps available for rent should you require them.
  2. Portable scooters: These models can be disassembled and transported in the trunk of a car. The seats lift off tool-free and the tiller folds down allowing the scooter to fit conveniently into the trunk of a sedan. When disassembled, the heaviest piece will range in weight from 35-60lbs depending on the model. Due to the smaller size of the portable scoters compared with the standard sized models please note the following restrictions.

    - smaller batteries mean that the scooter will not run for as long as the standard-sized models - Typically 10-12miles, so always be sure to take the charging cord should you need a top-up charge (30mins-1hr) whilst you are out and about.

    - The shorter length of the base and smaller batteries may mean that these compact portable units are better suited to individuals 5f 9” or shorter and weighing 250lbs and under. Please enquire at 1(888) 678-6267 to clarify availability for individuals outside these recommendations.

  3. Heavy-duty scooters: For individuals who require larger models, we have 4-wheel models with up to a 400lb capacity as well as a very comfortably - appointed 3-wheel Maxima model with a weight capacity of up to 450lbs.
What's the difference between a motorized wheelchair and a scooter?

The motorized or electric wheelchair is controlled by a joystick on one armrest (may be placed on either the left or right side depending on dexterity).

The motorized wheelchair is best suited to individuals who may have full use of only one arm or prefer excellent maneuverability around tight spaces. Mastering the joystick controller however, may require some practice.

The mobility Scooter has a longer base and is controlled by steering handle bars with forward and reverse levers. This is most popular rental option and requires little or no practice to operate. Users should have the ability to sue both hands to steer the handlebars.
